What Makes Sunny Spot Pet Care Different?

Sunny Spot Pet Care combines professional experience, medical knowledge, and genuinely personalized care to support pets and their people with confidence and compassion. As a Registered Veterinary Technician with over three years of professional pet sitting and dog walking experience, I bring a deeper understanding of animal behavior, health, and individualized care to every visit.

SSPC is fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates, giving families added peace of mind while they’re away. I also have more than six years of hands-on experience working with sensitive, shy, and behaviorally unique cats, allowing me to approach fearful or cautious pets with patience, respect, and low-stress handling techniques.

In addition to daily care, I’m experienced in administering a variety of medications and supportive treatments, including oral medications, injections, and SubQ fluids as directed by your veterinarian. Most importantly, Sunny Spot Pet Care focuses on building trust, noticing the little things, and providing thoughtful, attentive care that goes beyond the basics.

Getting started is easy! Simply click the blue “Click Here to Get Started” button above and fill out the new client form with some basic information about you and your pets. Once submitted, Sunny Spot Pet Care will reach back out within 24 hours to discuss your needs and schedule your Pet Care Consultation.

If you prefer, you’re also welcome to reach out directly by phone or email with any questions or to begin the process personally.

I am currently available to serve new families in the following zip codes: 80223, 80204, 80209, and 80210.

If you live nearby but outside of these areas, please reach out—I may still be able to help depending on availability.

For the safety, comfort, and well-being of your pets, Sunny Spot Pet Care requires a minimum of three visits per day for dogs unless they have continuous access to a securely fenced yard through a dog door. For dogs with reliable free access to their yard, I’m happy to accommodate a minimum of two visits per day instead.

Our feline friends are required to have at least one visit daily so I can monitor their health, ensure litter boxes, food, and water remain clean and refreshed, and make sure everything is going smoothly while you’re away.

I’m also happy to provide up to four visits per day when additional care, companionship, exercise, or medical support would best serve your family’s needs.

I recommend booking at least two (2) weeks in advance for new clients to allow time for a meet & greet. Booking early helps secure your preferred dates.

Requests made after 12pm the day before incur a Last Minute Fee.
