A Dog Walking Consultation is a required first step for all new Sunny Spot Pet Care dog walking clients. I believe safe, successful walks begin with trust, communication, and understanding your dog’s unique personality, routine, and needs.

This in-home meeting allows me to get to know your dog before their first walk. We’ll discuss their daily routine, energy level, exercise needs, leash manners, favorite routes, triggers, medical considerations, and any behavioral concerns. We’ll also review home access procedures, emergency contacts, and your goals for our walks together.

Just as importantly, the consultation gives your dog an opportunity to meet me in a familiar, low-stress environment and begin building a positive relationship before we head out on our first walk. This helps create a smoother, more comfortable experience for everyone involved.

Every dog is different. Some dogs are eager adventurers who love exploring new routes, while others prefer a slower pace and predictable routine.
